Position: M&E / AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Job Description

• Conduct site surveys, prepare designs, and perform quantity take-offs for mechanical and electrical systems in factories, including pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, control electrical systems, and power electrical systems.
• Participate in the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, particularly specialised port equipment such as container handlers, RTG cranes, STS cranes, and related machinery.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure project schedule, quality, and safety throughout project implementation.
• Prepare technical documentation and documents for inspection, acceptance, and project handover.
• Provide technical consultancy, warranty support, and after-sales service to customers following equipment handover.

Candidate Requirements

• College or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical technical drawings and using specialised software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design applications.
• Able to use technical measuring instruments and knowledgeable about the operating principles of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Strong sense of responsibility, good physical health, and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
