Gemadept Launches Nam Dinh Vu Phase 3, Capacity Exceeds 2 Million TEU
Gemadept completes Nam Dinh Vu Phase 3 at end of 2025, raising total port capacity beyond 2 million TEU at full operation.
Gemadept Group has officially put into operation Nam Dinh Vu Port Phase 3 in Hai Phong at the end of 2025, adding 800,000 TEU/year in capacity.
At full operation across all 3 phases, Nam Dinh Vu Port's total capacity exceeds 2 million TEU/year, becoming one of the highest-capacity ports in the Dinh Vu - Cat Hai area.
Phase 3 is equipped with Super Post-Panamax STS cranes and new-generation eRTG cranes, combined with an automated Terminal Operating System (TOS) to optimize handling productivity.
Gemadept's continuous expansion strategy reflects strong confidence in northern port industry growth potential, where container throughput is expected to increase an average of 15% annually during 2025-2030.
