On December 14, 2025, Hai Phong Port held a ceremony to receive its 2 millionth TEU container, officially setting a new record in the port's over 100-year history.
Total cargo throughput at Hai Phong Port in 2025 reached 213 million tons, a 12% increase over the previous year. This result stems from investments in infrastructure upgrades, modern handling equipment, and digital technology applications in operations management.
For 2026, Hai Phong Port targets 57.3 million tons of consolidated throughput and pre-tax profit of VND 1,520 billion. To realize this goal, the port continues investing in STS and RTG crane systems while deploying operational optimization solutions.
This achievement further affirms Hai Phong's position as the premier logistics gateway of northern Vietnam, playing a pivotal role in the global supply chain connecting Vietnam with international markets.
