Scope of Work: Dismantling, relocation, and preparation for connection to the STS crane rail system
Bac Au carried out the dismantling and relocation of 100 metres of the existing A100 rail system used by a bulk cargo crane. The work was undertaken to facilitate its connection to the STS crane rail system at Section 6, Berth No. 02, Saigon Hiep Phuoc Port.
The project required a high degree of precision during dismantling, careful preservation of the existing materials, and assurance that the relocated infrastructure would be fully compatible with the crane rail system currently in operation.
Drawing on its experience in port equipment and crane infrastructure, Bac Au performed the dismantling, transportation, and site preparation works required for the rail system modification. The project contributed to meeting the port’s infrastructure upgrade and operational capacity requirements.
Scope of Work
- Dismantling of the existing A100 rail system
- Removal of rail clips, connecting bolts, and rail accessories
- Removal of steel base plates and rubber pads
- Classification, transportation, and storage of the recovered materials
- Preparation of the infrastructure for connection to the STS crane rail system
