bBac Au carried out a comprehensive upgrade of the control system for the QC05 quay crane, including the replacement of the legacy Siemens PLC with the Siemens S7-1500 platform, along with upgrades to the communication system, HMI, drive control, and operational control devices.
The project also integrated a centralized SCADA monitoring system, restored the load weighing function, upgraded the control joystick, and added automatic spreader balancing features (Trim, Skew, List). The solution enhances equipment reliability, improves fault diagnostics, supports remote monitoring, and extends the operational lifespan of the crane.
